About

Who Is Debbie Landry?

Hi There!

My name is Deb, but I am better known as “Gamma” by all my favorite people. (My grandchildren and their friends!)

Let me ask you a question. If you are older, this will make more sense to you. When you were younger, did you ever have all these ambitions and work hard… So that you could purchase that nicer house and better car…

So you could have one, two, or maybe three or more children… and then, of course, you had to add a couple of dogs and cats in there.

How Did We Get So Overwhelmed?

Only to wake up one day and realize you were overwhelmed and exhausted?

And then you realize that your life will become much easier if you downsize the house… Find a less stressful job… Downsize to a more affordable car and one or two fewer pets.

It Was Time To Downsize My Business And Enjoy My Life

As I described above, that happened to me again in business.

Honestly, that was something that I was not expecting. But it was the same concept. I kept learning new skills, purchasing more advanced software, and spending countless hours taking expensive courses—all so that I could make more money and have a better life.

Except… The opposite happened. I was not making more money, spending more, and not having a better life. I was overwhelmed and stressed out.

And I thought I couldn’t live without these bells and whistles. Until one day, I realized I could do everything I had been doing… For much, MUCH cheaper… On a WordPress blog and inside of my private community.

When I Realized That I Was Married To My Business

At first, I was married to all these funnels, websites, and online courses. But I often thought, “If I had known in the beginning what I know now, I could do this for so much less money and make it so much easier.”

Instead, I built an elaborate business. And when I say I had an elaborate business built out… Well, it was something to be damn proud of, except for one minor detail. It wasn’t profitable.

Then, one day, my Facebook got hacked, which caused me significant problems getting traffic from the most popular sites, Facebook and Instagram. Even YouTube took away a couple of my channels!

Now, if that wasn’t bad enough, things got worse. Not only had I built out this elaborate business online, but I had also created tutorials teaching other people how to do the same. And then, the company that had the software did an update.

I thought it would be no problem. I would update my tutorials. And I did. It took me six months or more.

Why I Had To Start Over AGAIN – One Last Time

Fast-forward a few months, and one of my teachers told me I needed to start with brand new accounts… My Facebook and Instagram accounts were beyond repair.

On that SAME day, the same software that did the update that caused me to spend six months recording new tutorials did another update that I was not expecting. The entire back office interface changed again.

And do you know what this means? It meant that not one, not two, but FIVE of my courses were now outdated.

And none of my templates worked.

I could have spent six more months re-recording the tutorials, but I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and stressed.

That’s when I realized I could continue crying in my daiquiri (which I did for that whole day.) Or I could consider this an opportunity to start over ONE LAST TIME…

This Time, It Was A Blessing In Disguise

But THIS time… To do it right.

To cut expenses, I needed to remove a lot of software that I loved but didn’t need and rebuild my business from scratch—easily, simply, and profitably.

When I was working on starting a new Facebook and Instagram and reviewing the fine details, my teacher said I could not use the same name.

What? Do not use the same name. But that’s my name!

After more than one divorce and getting wiped out by Hurricane Katrina, this starting-over thing was getting old. What was I supposed to do? Hire an attorney to change my name?

The One Name That Was My Real True Name

Then I realized I had ONE more name that I had not used yet, at least not in business.

But it was also used a lot in my personal life by my favorite people in the world—my three beautiful granddaughters and their friends. And that name was GAMMA.

A friend gave me the name “Gamma Jamma” when I was 49 years old and found out that I would soon welcome my first granddaughter. I bought the domain a long time ago, but it just sat there in my domain account and around 45 other domains.

Why not? I thought to myself. After all, that’s my name.

It Was Time To Simplify My Life And My Business

It describes the time in my life when I desperately wanted to simplify my online business and, most of all, start making a profit.

So now you know the rest of the story.

Let’s do this together! I’m just a grandma who wants to improve my children’s and grandchildren’s lives.

Listen To Grandma Wisdom? Maybe?

But before all that, I spent YEARS trying to learn marketing online while holding down full-time jobs, raising a family, going to school part-time, and getting married (and divorced).

Determined to figure it out, I made many mistakes. But the biggest mistake was overcomplicating my business, spending too much money on software I didn’t need, being too confused, being too much of a perfectionist, suffering from too much social anxiety, and so on.

But this site is the solution to ALL of that. Stay with me and find out how!

How Simplifying Your Business Will Help You Turn A Profit

I can’t wait to get to know you. And to help you cut YOUR expenses and start turning a PROFIT.

I even figured out a way to reduce expenses, and you could still call me by my other name (Deb) if you want to. Why? Because I was able to reduce expenses and have a private community.

But then I realized something else important. I took so long to build an audience because I had the wrong audience. The people I needed to be talking to are Christians. So, here I am, giving all of my courses, where I will teach you everything I know to Christians.

Why? Because I want to help people who want to make a positive difference online—you! So, please join the community and find out how you can access all of my courses, which took me over eight years to create—for FREE!

Thank you so much for being here!

I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule, and I don’t take that lightly. It is my goal to make it worth it for you!
